Larger Monitors? Why?

I've been asked why I'm upgrading the site to accommodate larger computer monitors. It's simple really; that is what my clients are doing.

So when this website is viewed in smaller, older monitors that have a 640 x 800 resolution, the pictures are larger than the screen and the website seems cramped. But fewer and fewer people viewing the internet have the older, smaller monitors and are going for 20 inch monitors or larger. They want to see large, crisp, bright and full pictures, not the tiny, cramped layout of the early internet. Perhaps in the future, I will create an alternate site just for the smaller monitors, but I'll have to get plenty of data and requests that this is an actual need. If you don't have a larger monitor, please invest the time and money to upgrade. You'll be glad you did, and your entire internet experience will be improved!
