  • Size: Length overall: 12.0 (30.5 cm), Blade Length: 7.13" (18.1 cm), Thickness: .188" (4.78 mm)
  • Weight: Knife: 12.9 oz. (365 grams) Sheath: 12.5 oz. (354 grams)
  • Blade: 440C High Chromium Martensitic Stainless Tool Steel, Hardened and Tempered to Rockwell C57.5, Bead Blasted
  • Bolsters, Fittings: 304 Austenitic Stainless Steel, Bead Blasted
  • Handle: Black G-10, Fiberglass, Epoxy Laminate
  • Sheath: Tension Fit, Kydex, Aluminum, Nickel Plated Steel
  • Knife: Custom made for a client who is sure to put it through the paces, and named for the vicious monster of Greek mythology, the Nemean Lion, this design makes a sturdy tactical knife that will fulfill any needs in the field. The blade has a deep hollow grind and two inches of aggressive "Vampire" rip teeth serrations with tactical use in mind. The cutting edge is razor sharp, and along with the thick .188" spine, make this knife a very effective tool. The top swage helps maintain a narrow point profile without decreasing spine strength. Both the quillon and thumb rise create a very stable and comfortable place for the hand to rest. The blade is fully tapered for balance, with full filework. The rear hawk's bill bolster makes removal from the sheath quick and easy and the handle locks solidly into the hand. The balance point is between the first two fingers in forward grip style and the knife is bolstered with 304 high nickel, high chromium austenitic stainless steel for zero care and high strength and toughness. The bolsters are dovetailed and bed a pinned and sealed pair of G10 fiberglass/epoxy laminate handle scales. This black, bead blasted G10 has excellent tactile grip security, as well as high durability. This waterproof handle is very solid and uniform, will not flake, deform, change, or loosen, ever.
  • Sheath: We created one of our excellent tension fit waterproof tactical sheaths; it's made of double-thickness kydex over a 5052H32 corrosion resistant, high-strength aluminum welt frame. The sheath is secured with nickel plated steel Chicago screws with 1.75" wide die-formed high strength aluminum belt loops that are reversible as well as able to be relocated in tree positions on the sheath for versatile wear on a belt, PALS webbing on tactical gear, or any type of strap or web.
  • This is a serious, stout, and dependable tactical combat knife and sheath.

Thanks, E. L!
